Impellers

Impellers are surprisingly complicated, providing solids suspension, simple blending, horizontal flash mixing, gas dispersion, low liquid level solids suspension and other fluid movement for industrial applications.

Process requirements differ by application.  That is why Philadlephia Mixing Solutions offers the widest selection of impeller designs, made possible through our extensive research, testing, and application experience.  We can provide the best impeller for your application.

In addition to this diverse selection of impellers, we can custom design an impeller to solve your mixing challenge.  We use the most advanced design tools and processes to develop the optimum impeller for even the toughest mixing problem.

Axial Flow Impellers
With axial flow, the fluid principally flows parallel to the shaft.  Typical applications for axial flow impellers include solids suspension, simple blending, horizontal flash mixing chambers, and flocculators.

Radial Flow Impellers
With radial flow, the fluid principally flows at right angles to the shaft.  Typical applications of radial flow impellers include gas dispersion, low liquid level solids suspension, and vertical flash mixing chambers.

Mixed Flow Impellers
These impellers combine axial and radial flow principles for mixing fluids with a variety of properties.
