Homepage The Markets We Serve Wastewater Treatment Aeration Technologies Submersible Mixers

Submersible Mixers

Submersible mixers can be completely immersed and are typically used to treat wastewater before it enters another body or is reused. They are usually seen in the secondary treatment stage of activated sludge processes to break down any dissolved or suspended organic solids.

Philadephia Mixing Solutions Submersible Mixers provide maxium flow with minimum power.

Options in gear drive and direct drive offer flexibility in positioning and orientation allowing the mixer jet to develop over a long distance and adapt to the shape of the basin, ensuring the creation of a maximum level of bulk flow to achieve required mixing results.

  • Gear drive provides high velocity: specifically for wastewater basins with large channels where particle suspension and flow is esssential.
  • Direct drive provides strong flow at relatively short distances: specifically for anoxic mixing applications.
  • Easily mounted at different height levels.

Combine with our Phlo-Booster propeller which provides maximum efficiency and clog-free operation, moving large volume flow forward in a powerful jet stream with minimum energy consumption.
